Spot Trading Order Types
ChainBitX currently supports three types of spot orders:
1. Limit Order
Users set a specific order price, and the trade will execute at that price or a better one.
The trigger price is the one set by the user.
Orders are placed at a fixed price, which may result in slower execution if there are no matching orders.
If no matching or better orders exist in the order book, the order remains pending, increasing market depth.
Pros:
Offers favorable pricing for buy/sell actions.
Useful for partial or full take-profit orders.
Matches the trading strategy of many investors.
Cons:
Execution is not guaranteed.
May not fill if the market doesn’t reach the order price.
Slower execution speed.
2. Market Order
Executed at the current market price, no need to set a price manually.
Triggered at the latest market price, executing immediately at available prices.
The final executed price may differ from the market price shown at the time of order placement.
Pros:
Ensures immediate execution.
Preferred for entering or exiting positions quickly to follow market trends.
Cons:
During high volatility, the executed price may be less favorable than expected.
3. Conditional (Planned) Order
Triggered only when a preset condition (trigger price) is met.
You must set a trigger price to activate the order.
Once triggered, the system places the order at market price or a predefined limit price.
The final execution price may differ from the trigger price, but execution is usually fast.
Pros:
Better control over price than market orders.
Allows strategic planning: orders only enter the market when a specific price is reached.
Cons:
If the market never hits the trigger price, the order won’t be executed.
There is a risk of non-execution.
Spot Delisting Mechanism
To maintain a safe and healthy trading environment, ChainBitX periodically reviews all listed tokens to protect user interests.
If a token fails to meet ChainBitX’s listing standards, the team will conduct a thorough review and may delist the token and its associated trading pairs.
If a token is delisted, the following actions may occur:
Suspend trading for some or all of the token’s trading pairs.
Suspend deposits for the token.
Suspend withdrawals for the token.
Grace Period
Before withdrawal is suspended, ChainBitX will provide users with a grace period to allow withdrawal or trading of the affected token.
If a user fails to withdraw the token within the grace period, ChainBitX may convert the token to USDT at the market price at the time of delisting, subject to market conditions.
Important Notes:
Due to market volatility, it’s recommended to withdraw early to avoid potential losses.
Withdrawals take time—please allow enough time to complete the process.
ChainBitX reserves the right to modify, change, or cancel the delisting mechanism at any time, without prior notice.
