Settlement and Earnings
Settlement Time The system executes settlement based on the user-selected time cycle, such as 4h / 12h / 24h. Contract earnings are usually settled by period. ChainBitX offers multiple cycle options, and users can check their position settlement frequency on the account page, for example, every 4 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours, ensuring clear control of unrealized profit and loss. Periodic settlement helps calculate intraday performance, plan position strategies, and synchronize with other investment projects’ earnings evaluation cycles.
Earnings Calculation Each position’s earnings are settled according to the profit and loss formula: Profit/Loss = (Closing Price – Opening Price) × Position Size × Leverage
This formula applies to both long and short positions. For a long position, price increase means profit, otherwise loss; for a short position, it is the opposite. After closing a position, the ChainBitX system automatically calculates profit and loss and credits realized earnings to the contract account balance, supporting transfers or reinvestment at any time.
The system automatically records 24-hour returns and historical earnings charts. Users can view recent 24-hour profits on the “Earnings Analysis” page and visualize position changes via charts. The system supports exporting historical profit and loss data to assist users in strategy review and risk management optimization. Additionally, ChainBitX provides cumulative account earnings curves and asset growth trend charts, helping users fully understand their trading performance.
