# Interpretation of Profit and Loss Data

Understanding profit and loss data helps users evaluate the effectiveness of trading strategies and risk control.

**Realized Profit and Loss:** Refers to the actual amount gained or lost by the user after closing a position; Detailed records can be viewed in \[Asset Overview] and \[Historical Orders].

**Unrealized Profit and Loss:** Refers to the floating profit and loss of positions that have not yet been closed; Data updates in real time and reflects the current position status based on market price changes.
