Withdrawal Address Whitelist Feature

The Whitelist is a critical security feature provided by ChainBitX, allowing users to pre-define trusted wallet addresses. Once enabled, the system only permits withdrawals to these whitelisted addresses, effectively preventing hackers or malicious actors from changing withdrawal targets.

How It Works:

  • Go to "Account Settings" > "Withdrawal Whitelist" to add one or more trusted addresses.

  • Once enabled, your account can only withdraw to addresses in the whitelist — all other withdrawal attempts will be blocked by the system.

  • Any changes to the whitelist will require multi-layer verification (such as fund password + email verification code + Google Authenticator) and trigger a 24-hour cooldown period, greatly reducing the risk of unauthorized asset transfers.

Friendly Reminder:

We strongly recommend all users enable this feature — especially those who conduct large or frequent transfers, or manage institutional accounts. Avoid adding unknown addresses, and keep all account verification credentials safe.
