ChainBitX Google Authenticator Setup Guide (2FA)
Google Authenticator adds an extra layer of security to your ChainBitX account by generating a time-based verification code. Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Sign in to ChainBitX Log in to your ChainBitX account and go to Profile.
Step 2: Open Security Settings Tap on Security Settings from your profile menu.
Step 3: Select Google Authenticator Choose Google Authenticator under the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) options.
Step 4: Install Google Authenticator If you haven’t installed it yet, download Google Authenticator from the App Store or Google Play.
Step 5: Save Your Authenticator Key ChainBitX will display a Google Authenticator key (backup key). Copy and securely save this key. It is important for account recovery.
Step 6: Add ChainBitX to Google Authenticator Open the Google Authenticator app and:
Paste the key manually, or
Scan the QR code
Step 7: Verify and Confirm Enter:
The verification code sent to your email, and
The 6-digit code from Google Authenticator
Tap Confirm.
