# Public Wi-Fi Usage Warning

Many cases of fraud and data breaches stem from users accessing their accounts or conducting fund operations over **public Wi-Fi** networks — such as those in **cafés, airports, or hotels**. These networks pose serious security risks, including **man-in-the-middle attacks** and **phishing Wi-Fi setups**.

***

**Usage Recommendations:**

* **Avoid logging into your ChainBitX account or making withdrawals** while connected to public Wi-Fi.
* If public Wi-Fi must be used, **consider enabling your mobile hotspot** or using a **VPN** to encrypt your traffic.
* **Never enter passwords, verification codes, or sensitive financial information** on unknown or unsecured networks.
* Be cautious of **phishing Wi-Fi networks** (e.g., names like “Free\_Wifi\_**ChainBitX**” or “Airport\_Free\_**ChainBitX**”) — these may be set up by attackers to mimic legitimate connections.

***

**Friendly Reminder:**

For your account security, **only use ChainBitX services in trusted network environments**. Whenever possible, choose **home broadband or mobile data** over public Wi-Fi. Don’t risk asset loss for the sake of convenience.
