# How to Deposit

Before trading, users need to deposit digital assets into their **ChainBitX** platform account. Properly following the deposit process ensures asset security and prevents loss caused by incorrect addresses, networks, or memo/tag information.

#### Detailed Instructions <a href="#h_01k2bsbncahfb8z36n7yeeeg19" id="h_01k2bsbncahfb8z36n7yeeeg19"></a>

1. Log in to your **ChainBitX** account and go to the **Assets** page.
2. Click the **Deposit** button in the top right corner, then select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit (e.g., USDT, BTC, ETH).
3. Choose the correct deposit network (such as TRC20, ERC20, BEP20, etc.). The platform will generate the corresponding deposit address. Please ensure the network you select matches the network used in your external wallet transfer.
4. Copy the deposit address and initiate the transfer from your external wallet. For certain tokens like XRP, ATOM, XLM, etc., you must also fill in the **Memo/Tag** accurately.
5. After completing the deposit, you can check the status in the **Deposit History**. Generally, funds will arrive automatically once blockchain confirmations are completed.
